We will have plenty of board games available. With a library provided by
Finchley Games Club
and
Leisure Games.
There will be someone available to answer your questions and even demonstrate some of the games.

We are running morning and afternoon sessions.
- Morning sessions run from 10.00am to 1.30pm.
- Afternoon sessions run from 2.30pm to 6.00pm.
- Please note: to book onto and play a game you must have a paid ‘Entry Ticket’.
In these sessions, one of our experienced GM’s will take you through the setup of the game and run through one of the scenarios. No experience necessary, an ideal way to learn the rules and have fun at the same time.
What's On - Morning Session
Heat: Pedal To The Metal
Introductory Session - Learn How To Play
Based on simple and intuitive hand management, Heat: Pedal to the Metal puts players in the driver's seat of intense car races, jockeying for position to cross the finish line first, while managing their car's speed if they don't want to overheat.Selecting the right upgrades for their car will help them hug the curves and keep their engine cool enough to maintain top speeds. Ultimately, their driving skills will be the key to victory!
Drivers can compete in a single race or use the "Championship System" to play a whole season in one game night, customizing their car before each race to claim the top spot of the podium.
They have to be careful as the weather, road conditions, and events will change every race to spice up their championship. Players can also enjoy a solo mode with the Legends Module or add automated drivers as additional opponents in multiplayer games.

Kinfire Chronicles: Night's Fall
The World of Kinfire
The Darkness has returned. It rages like a storm outside the city walls. Only the kinfire glow of the Great Lighthouse can keep it at bay.You are Seekers, sworn to protect the city of Din’Lux and help rebuild the world beyond. Armed with kinfire lanterns, you’ll brave the Starless Nights, battle the creatures that emerge, and guard each others’ backs against the malevolent forces trying to stop you.
Weave your way through the mission’s story in “choose your own adventure”-style story cards, and defeat foes in a unique, card-based combat system. Then take your loot back to town, and use it to enhance your Seeker’s loadout. Shop, explore, talk to NPCs, discover quests, do as you will. There’s always more to find.
Kinfire Chronicles: Night’s Fall is a cooperative campaign game for 1 to 4 players.

Smoothie Wars
Smoothie Wars
Smoothie Wars is a short,strategy game where you compete with other players to sell smoothies at different locations on a mythical island.The aim of the game is to end up with the most money at the end. The game is based over a notional week where one move is one day.
There are seven moves in total. A game takes from 30-45mins to complete. Players need to use their strategy skills to choose the volume, price and location of their smoothies each move, all whilst trying to second-guess other players doing exactly the same thing.
There is also an element of chance caused by the weather or occasional one-off events, plus opportunities for secret deals and bluffing.
This game teaches important numeracy and strategy skills in the form of a fun, smoothie-selling showdown!
Suitable for up to 10 players, ages 8-108. The game is currently in prototype form.
